Hallows Yarn Ministry began
by knitting and crocheting infant caps for newborns at the Clatanoff
Pavilion of Anne Arundel Medical Center. This year they delivered
110 caps. They also made caps and scarves for the school backpack
project, and hats for Psychotherapeutic Services in Annapolis
and for the Pre-headstart and Headstart children. Most exciting
is that several of the mothers of recipients initiated pay-back
by learning how to knit and crochet and making more hats for
the program. Most of the work is done in the members’ homes,
but they meet at the Parish House on the second Thursday of
each month at 1:30 (all are welcome to meet us there) to plan
their work, share patterns, and enjoy good fellowship.
