~Little Drops~

Little Drops is a combination Orphanage and School tucked away on a bumpy dirt road in the small town of “Puru”, South India. There are currently two sites for their services-Little Drops and Rehoboth.

Its residents consist of indigent senior citizens, homeless mentally ill individuals, and children that participate in their small school called Little Angels. This facility gets no funding from government agencies and is solely dependent on contributions. Little Drops currently has 252 senior citizens, 60 mentally challenged, and over 498 school children (ages 4-10). The senior citizens and mentally challenged persons reside at Little Drops and are fed 3 meals a day with tea and coffee. These seniors will reside there until they die. The children are fed lunch and sometimes breakfast. The residents learn to speak English and are taught about the Christian faith. It is an interdenominational facility.

Little Drops functions as a hospice and permanent home for the “unwanted” of South India. Those citizens that have no one to care for them and cannot care or feed themselves are provided medical treatment, food and a place to live until they die or family members claim them (seldom do any become re-claimed).  Little Drops serves over 600 needy individuals and is at full capacity.

Contributions for the ministry there can be sent to All Hallows’ Parish, Davidsonville, MD.
